FAST & EFFICIENT
Working in batches and using bar code scanning enable ultra-high-speed data registration and correct personal identification. Your staff can then do more with their valuable time.
INTELLIGENT & COMPLETE
The system monitors the employee’s vaccination history in Workflower, including vaccinations administered outside the hospital.
CLEAR
Handy overview lists provide insight into all data, such as vaccination rates, type/batch of the administered vaccines, etc.
SECURE
All data is protected from unauthorised use; only the necessary data is stored. When the eHealth ConsultRN service is used, the application checks that the personal data is correct.
AUTOMATIC
Very little information needs to be entered manually for a complete registration. The data is also automatically transmitted to Vaccinnet (platform of the Flemish authorities).
RETURN
The app helps your employees save significant time, for a faster return on your investment.
With Workflower you also get a tool that allows you to automate a wide range of existing and future processes—across all divisions of your healthcare enterprise.
Can any hospital use the Vaccination Registration application ?
Yes. The application for employee vaccination registration can be used as a stand-alone system, but you can also link it to the hospital IT systems for even greater automation.
Which interfaces does the Vaccination Registration application support ?
The application interfaces with:
How do you register employees’ personal data?
A CSV file can be uploaded, with all employee data, plus the data of other people who have a relationship with the hospital. When vaccinating an employee, you select them from the database using their badge (bar code scanning) or employee number.
If you don’t work with CSV files or cannot find the employee in the database, you can enter the National Register Number. The application will then retrieve the personal data (only what is required by Vaccinnet) from ConsultRN (the Belgian eHealth service that allows you to search for and consult the data of a specific person in the National Register and in the Crossroads Bank for Enterprises register).
If the patient is not in the register (a non-resident, for example), you can manually enter the data.
How do you register the vaccine being administered?
You can register the vaccine by scanning the bar code on the packaging or by uploading a catalogue of known batch numbers before you begin vaccinations. You only have to do this once for every batch of vaccines. This allows the CNK code (the Belgian identification number for medications) and other necessary data to flow correctly to Vaccinnet, without any more manual actions.
Can you also use the application for patient vaccinations?
You can expand the Vaccination Registration application to register patient vaccinations, following a simple process:
What technology does the Vaccination Registration application use?
This application has been built using the Amaron Workflower platform: a low-code platform that allows you to configure and automate all kinds of processes across your hospital’s software applications. Workflower is not limited to the clinical domain, but can also be used in administration, logistics, HR or a combination of areas.
The Workflower applications integrate with the Amaron Connect platform (EAI) to enable the seamless exchange of data with your hospital’s information systems and with the data platforms of national and regional authorities or other external applications, for example, AI.
“With this application, I have accurate insight into the vaccination rate of our employees at all times.”
Fritz Defloor, AZ Alma Hospital, Eeklo (Belgium)
“Thanks to the Vaccination Registration application, we were able to implement a fast and stable solution in a very short time. The data is transmitted correctly to Vaccinnet, and the learning curve for the users is very low.”
Tanja Derboven, Application Manager, AZ Klina, Brasschaat (Belgium)
