Meet FHINDR, our smart tool to visualise FHIR data

At the end of 2024, we introduced FHINDR — our user-friendly viewing tool that helps you get started with FHIR quickly and easily.

With this intuitive point-and-click app, developers don’t need in-depth technical knowledge to perform complex FHIR queries and visualise data from FHIR repositories in a clear and structured way.

FHINDR not only allows you to query your Amaron repository, but works just as well with other FHIR repositories. At Amaron, for example, we use FHINDR to test the attribute-based security and filtering features of FHIR Station.

And the best part? You can download FHINDR completely free of charge.

New release!

We’ve added several new features that make the tool even more powerful. Below is an overview of the most important updates:

  1. More authentication options
Including support for additional encryption algorithms, so even more repositories are supported.

  2. Query history & favourites
You can now save queries and easily run them again later.

  3. AI integration enhancements
In addition to the default configurations included, you can now configure your own models as well.

  4. Even more advanced options
    You can now:
    → import/export full configurations
    → add custom HTTP headers
→ send FHIR queries as HTTP POST
    → configure SSL validation
→ add token extensions, and more.

Today, 15 hospitals are already using the FHINDR viewing app. You can get started right away too.

FHINDR is freely available for Windows, Mac, and Linux.
