Amaron in numbers

At Amaron, we are proud to have been a trusted and established player in the healthcare and health IT landscape, both nationally and internationally, for many years. The figures below provide a concrete picture of how broadly and deeply Amaron is embedded in the sector today:

  • We have more than 150 customers: hospitals, laboratories and other healthcare organisations in Belgium (100+), the Netherlands, France, Germany, Luxembourg, Spain and Switzerland. This list continues to grow year after year.
  • Many of them rely on our open, Mirth® Connect-based data integration solution. Altogether, we have already installed more than 400 Mirth EAI servers.
  • 40 institutions use Workflower to digitise administrative or clinical processes (HR, hospital pharmacy, laboratory, etc.). Some of these develop their own customised Workflower applications, with or without the support of our team. Others opt for the Workflower point solutions. Popular examples include MyCareNet Chapter IV, patient/contact creation and vaccination registration.
  • Nearly 50 clients use our eHealth integrations to exchange data with the Belgian government. In total, we have installed 120 eHealth integrations for more than 20 eHealth components: ConsultRN, Trusted Timestamping, MyCareNet Chapter IV, eHealth Box, etc.
  • Over 20 healthcare organisations rely on FHIR Station to expose data from their various data sources to applications that support HL7® FHIR®. Four of them use FHIR Station as a hub.
  • We support 30 healthcare organisations to share data via CoZo. We also provide the FHIR infrastructure for CoZo.
  • In 30 hospitals, we have implemented integrations with devices for spot checks and patient monitoring, including both high- and low-acuity devices from various vendors. In this way, the data flows in a structured manner into the medical record—amounting to hundreds of thousands of messages every day.
  • We not only provide our customers with tools; we also invest heavily in services. Every year, we support more than 200 projects at our customers’ sites and, of course, continue to assist them after go-live with support—24/7 if required.
  • Training is also an important part of our activities. Every year, our team trains or upskills more than 100 integration professionals through the Amaron Academy or on-site, covering Mirth Connect, FHIR and Workflower.

These figures show where we stand today, but above all they reflect our daily commitment to strengthening the healthcare sector with sustainable, efficient and future-proof interoperability solutions.
