COVID testing centre:
When a citizen visits the COVID test lane, you can read their identity card or manually enter the National Registry number to retrieve their data from ConsultRN.
External laboratory requests:
The National Register app is also a handy tool for hospital laboratories that perform tests for external referring physicians. With the app, they can retrieve the correct personal data without manual intervention.

You work efficiently with less manual handling, thus saving time.
SAFE
You always work with the correct personal data.
UNIVERSAL
You can use this application for a whole range of applications, such as when admitting a patient, when vaccinating employees, for external laboratory orders, etc.

The system features a full logging and audit trail. On one clear screen, you can check who consulted or changed which data, and when this happened.
RETURN
This app helps your employees save a lot of time. Time they can spend on other tasks, with greater added value for patients. So the investment pays for itself quickly.
With Workflower, you also get a tool that allows you to automate a wide range of existing and future processes – in all areas of your healthcare organisation.
Can any organisation use ConsultRN?
To access ConsultRN, your healthcare organisation must be authorised via the eHealth certificate and the assigned application ID. You can check with your institution’s DPO if this is the case.
If your organisation does not yet have rights to consult ConsultRR, the DPO can request an application ID from eHealth. Amaron is happy to help you get started with this.
How do you authorise individuals to consult data in ConsultRN?
The (co)administrator of an organisation can add the INSZ/NISS data of the persons authorised to have access and perform searches, via socialsecurity.be. You can find more info on the ConsultRR page of eHealth.
What happens if ConsultRN is unreachable?
If ConsultRN is not reachable, the app will automatically retry several times to access the data source. You can specify the number of attempts and the time between them.
What do you need in order to use the National Register Consultation app?
Amaron customers can run the application on their Amaron application server: the server used for Amaron Watch and Workflower, among others. If you don’t yet have an Amaron application server, we will be happy to set one up for you!
When you order, we will provide you with all the specifications. We will explain and discuss the specifications in more detail during a project kick-off meeting.
What technology does the app use?
This application has been built using the Amaron Workflower platform: a low-code platform that allows you to configure and automate all kinds of processes across your hospital’s software applications. Workflower is not limited to the clinical domain, but can also be used in administration, logistics, HR or a combination of areas.
The Workflower applications integrate with the Amaron Connect platform (EAI) to enable the seamless exchange of data with your hospital’s information systems and with the data platforms of national and regional authorities or other external applications, for example, AI.
